I really enjoyed the mellow, go-with-the-flow, do-as-you-please sort of gameplay from fl0w and Flower. With the Dust looks to be a game of a similar mentality. According to IndieGames.com you play the part of a lonely girl who takes refuge in flying her kite. There will apparently also be adults to talk to in addition to the bird-scaring “mechanic” shown in the video.
It’s not much to go on, but the art student duo behind the game, Henry Hoffman and Kate Killick, are planning to release With the Dust for free in a few months. As such, the lovely, minimalist art style is all I really need to get me looking forward to the game’s release.
There’s no website yet, but when there is one, I’ll update this post. You can keep an eye on this one via the website, withthedust.com, or @withthedust on Twitter.
